This involves improving drug prevention, treatment, and care, along with developing effective criminal justice responses to drug trafficking and strengthening international law enforcement cooperation.

UNODC promotes effective and accountable criminal justice responses to terrorism, increased international cooperation to counter its financing, and the development of human rights-compliant measures to prevent violent extremism.

UNODC works to establish effective legal frameworks to combat transnational organized crime, improve investigation and prosecution, and enhance responses to cybercrime and other emerging forms of crime.

This pillar focuses on strengthening access to justice for all, promoting effective, community-based crime prevention, increasing access to gender-responsive justice, and reforming prison systems to ensure humane conditions.

The organization supports the strengthening of legal, policy, and institutional frameworks to counter corruption and promote increased cooperation among institutions at all levels.

Meeting the growing demand for goAML and delivering it cost-effectively adds value for FIUs, aligns with UNODC mandates, and ensures stable, sustainable support to Member States.

goAML remains committed to working closely with FIUs, allowing them to guide and prioritize improvements and innovations. Ensuring FIU satisfaction is a core objective and central to our mission.

Partnerships with UNODC programmes, including with GPML (Global Programme against Money Laundering, Proceeds of Crime and the financing of Terrorism), enable innovative and value-added services to be provided to FIUs.

As goAML expands and evolves, ongoing technological upgrades, team scaling, and streamlined processes are essential to meet growing demand and complexity.
